Met with a mate of mine who is a lambretta tuner and showed him what I have done to the cylinder and cases, he recommended some extra tweaks. I will post picks after I have finished.

ah i dont think it is, the hole entering the cylinder looks too big to be a malossi one unless it was opened up?

Forks mark 2. I managed to get a set of PK XL 125 forks from Germany 50 euros. I sprayed them a nice satin black. These are the type you can fit a disk brake too and are the same as the p200e but smaller. Fitting these mean you can hit the front brake and not experience a horrible judder - these are the anti dive forks. Problem is to fit the old style mudguard you have to fart about with them to get it to fit. See pics, bracket so you don't have to fill the original whole - dent you need to make in the old style mudguard to allow for the shocker bracket - grinding you need to do to the shocker mounting bracket so the dent isn't too big, bit late now but if anyone knows a better way of doing this let me know. There is a way, as other people managed to do it. Unfortunately I don't know it. I have tried myself and nearly got it right but the mudguard looked wonky . At the end I bought a 90ss mudguard. Only thing you need to do is widen the hole at the top.

Jez a Lambretta tuning mate gave me a few tips to get a little more out the casings and cylinder: Enlarge the oil hole in the casings both ends and smooth out. Polish the exhaust inlet, reduce the step and polish the reed valve manifold. Less polishing more porting mate. Transfers still need some work, spigot wants cuuting and inlet requires opening to produce a far better flow and three small boost ports....... Inlet opened out.....(transfers still needed a bit of tidying, don't spend as much time on my own stuff ) Careful not to let the bottom ring go into the inlet..... Transfers for a recently done Polini, no welding. Plenty of room. Keep up the good work. ;D

i havent got much more on mine than that and mines ok? Feck me ash what did you port that with........why is ther a difference between the bottom two studs and the casing mouth? Not sure the angles of the trans look good here mate. Sometimes trying to make them as big as you can can sometimes make the transition from casing to barrel flow worse IMO.

bit dodgy looking port work indeed. The barrel wont be supported by the casing as its all askew. Be careful running that one pal.

sorry mate but my outward swage doesnt look that big on my mudguard, check the pics I sent you, more grinding to the shocker top mount may have avoided this however smoothing with body filler before spraying can help. you can also put the shock mount upside down to drop the level/ride height a little too oh yes watch that nyloc top nut, make sure stud goes through nylon part or is it loose in the pic?
