a top lambretta man said the jetting was a litte weak on the needle jet, so i went up to a 107 i think i will now be dropping the pilot back down to a 25. its amazing how much petrol you waste when trying to get the jetting sorted.
its road legal now so i can give it a few goes and get the timing and jetting sorted.
got a franz exhaust and the center stand is catching on the exhaust it does look like i might be able to push the exhaust over a bit, anyone else had a similar problem ?

Exactly the same problem here Steve, no solution yet. For me, I need to lengthen the stand due to pk forks and longer rear shocks, so I have a problem. I thought of either making the stand narrower or putting something on the leg higher, so the stand can't go all the way up.

This sounds like one solution "putting something on the leg higher, so the stand can't go all the way up."
i`m considering removing the chromed nut cover in the hub center to try and push the exhaust in a tad more then bending the stand so that it cant make contact with the footboard/exhaust. its a shame realy cos the exhaust realy is very well made and helps to keep plenty of power in the lower revs,
how far are you from being on the road?

Mot on thurs!
My franz on the 180 bend part is hitting the floorboards. It ok when I'm sat on it, but haven't had a good look as yet to see what he options are. Will post some pics up when I get a chance. Good to hear you're road legal.

good luck with the mot
i found that i could get the bend to clear the footboard with a bit of pushing and pulling.
as you say there is extra clearance when sat on it
