Three Sisters. Eddie's bike now has the dummy tank. Terry has what three 90ss's there.. nice. Ian still has them I think. Its possible one of those bikes was painted pink for Tim Wilson to race in group 1 in 1990. Btw the old blue truck I think still goes.. it belongs to Ralph Remnant.

Sounds like you are on the right lines. Its all being looked at. The Bsso has a top bloke in Paul Green and he has major plans and ideas. There may be something happening this year along some of those lines.

I think the Speed Demons looked at this a few years ago and encountered problems. I can't remember exactly what they were but I'm sure Sticky will.

Giles was my friend in the paddock mate. I think of him every time I race. I have seen pictures of him somewhere. He couldnt understand why I raced my 90ss. He always told me off! We were at a circuit (think it was 3 sisters or pembrey)and he had mashed a gear selector. I offerered to help but he said he was ok..He had probably half hour before the next race. How the hell he changed it I dont know. But there he was racing. I cant do that job today in that time in a workshop let alone at a circuit.

Yes boss there were problems when the Demons tried to sort it. The problem is that we race under the ACU now and as such there is a lot of red tape at that end. There may of been other factors that I dont know or am qualified to talk about.. There maybe a different way of doing it today. But what I'm talking about is on a lesser scale... for now.. so lets give Paul a chance. After all we raced at Donny this year with the British Truck Racing Association with ther sports cars, trucks etc... paddock girls and everything. It was awesome.

I know Martin as well mate. People didnt really slag off Martin.. it was the bike. I was the one who made him the 90ss cable clamp in the headset and re built a lot of it.. Think I made a loom on it too, recabled etc when I was at Jb. I rode Rumours after jb rebuilt the motor. I have to admit it wasnt for me. It handled awful. But as I posted on the other thread this bike was done many years ago.. its not an SS.. I'll give martin a text soon. Good luck with Gile's SS. He'll be keeping an eye on you two for sure. Need any help, pm me and I'll give you my number.

Id heard about the speed demons race meet aswell... i think it was due to have been at somewhere called lymm.. (near Hastings.??). Shame it never came off, If the HOLIDAY IN HOLLAND rallies were anything to go by it would have been spot on.... If something comes off in 2010 anywhere in the U.K, im deffo up for it... (keep us posted Tony & racing Co).. TS 200, i dont think the comments were a swipe at Martin, its just peoples views often come across a bit harsh on forums.. for the record i like a Smallie to have a smallie engine fitted, but that said so fucking what if its got ANYTHING from a P-range to a KART engine its still a Small Frame Vespa..... And surely thats what we are ALL ABOUT ........ SCOOTERS Is the SS a tribute to your mate Giles..?? The friendships made within scootering, have got to be better than in any other walk of life... long may it continue

I can remember going to a race meeting in the back of that yellow Taffspeed van back in the early eighties. If I remember correctly Ian had a side car outfit then on a trailer on the back. Also went to a hill climb event somewhere in the west country I think, ended up being a marshal for the day. All a long time ago and my memory is pretty crap nowadays.
