Hi Tony, yup it's me (can never get "Dave" on internet stuff, missus & daughter call me Daisy so that'll do!) 2. Dave Sharp (not spectacularly successful street class Lamy racer - only person I know of to be black flagged for going to slow! - though to be fair it was his first or second outing) 4. Gary Capewell, sidecar passenger and all round loon.
Going to be racing 2013 in group 4 - I've still got the complete bike - although it'll need some work to make it competitive again. To go out in group 2 means starting from scratch & too much money. Also lost my bottle a bit on the SS90 - that's why I swoped to sidecars, when I discovered knee down on the Lammy bottle came back! (I'm not bendy enough to get the knee down on the smallie!)
Russ Cooper still talks about you, he converted his SS back to bog standard road bike, though he's still got the engine.....

Just found this old pic of me at Cadwell Club circuit on my Morini racer (the red one). I think it was a track day in 2000 or 2001.

Its our clubs 30th anniversary this year, got a do coming up so thought I'd sort through some old pics. Got loads from our racing 'era' bout '85 to '88 Our club were Lamebwetta jockeys Andy Goodall, Ian Stovell and Phil Cooper, smallframe pilot was Andy Polly. Smallie had Taffy engine. Cadwell 87. Terry wanted to know why the bike was so slow. He rode it round the paddock and said it seemed ok. It was then that Polly said he was to shit scared to ride it fast!! I was on crutches for 2 years after accident going to Morcambe in '85. This pic was Lydden, late '85 or early '86. No, I dont still have jumper

Yep, got loads from that era. I use to marshal at the race meetings, not much help on crutches, but in an ideal place for photos. It takes me a while though as I havn't got a scanner. Have to take photos of the photos then photobucket em. I will get round to it.
