All fitted and running beautifully.
I had the clutch adjusted up too high which scared the shit out of me when I went to start it first time and for a second I thought I'd put the kickstarter cog in wrong.
So. It's finished apart from running it in and getting it on a dyno.
Thanks for everyone's help.

at least 1000 before the dyno Ah well then it'll never happen. I'm lucky to do 30 or 40 miles every few months.

Just an update I decided it was fast enough but wasn't quick enough so I've dropped it to a 26 primary driven gear. Hopefully this will help the acceleration. While I was spannering in the same area I decided to fit a Polini wave spring inside the Crimaz easy clutch. First impressions (around the workshop as it was pissing down) are that it feels lighter but stronger. I'll report back when I get a fine Sunday to try it. Also in the spirit of making it look faster than it actually is I've ordered a quick throttle from Dai Onsmallwheels and he's looking for a suitable frame brace so I can properly look like a "racing guy".

Just an update. I shipped it to Italy and finally got to test it on the roads I built it for. Lovely loads of torque but I'll need to adjust the carb (Polini CP 24 Evo)as it's now at 700m and running a bit rich- it's still on the Factory set up: main jet: 112 secondary jet: 40. I did raise the clip 1 notch though whilst in the UK. It's also not running a filter. Any suggestions as to what jets I should try? And a filter that would fit?
That aside the Pinasco suspension and wheels make a hell of a difference. Lovely ride but with great handling. Feels so light through the bends. Made the orange Primmy feel like a heavy old bag of shite.
I've brought the orange one back to the UK so that's my next project. It's currently running a Polini evo and Banana exhaust, Carbone shocks and a big old white seat so there'll be some spare parts for sale eventually. Currently my idea is- bare metal, 170 EGIG but you know how these things go.

Pipercross sock filters are my preferred ones. They fit nicely on almost any kind of engine and give way if pounded against the frame on bumps.

I'll need to adjust the carb (Polini CP 24 Evo)as it's now at 700m and 28c and running a bit rich- it's still on the Factory set up: main jet: 112 secondary jet: 40.
It almost starts without the choke and feels a bit out of breath when it gets to the top of the revs. I've adjusted the mix screw out (lean) by 3 turns and it's still a bit rich so should I come down 1 size on the secondary jet? Also should I go up 1 size on the main?
I'm not looking for you to tell me how to set it up perfectly, just to let me know if I'm going in the right direction (up and down) with jet sizes.
Thanks.

Well I had a trip to Italy and managed to change the jets with the advice of Henri: 112 to 110 main and 40 to 38 idle. Seemed a lot better but I'll check it more thoroughly when I'm there in the hot weather in July.

dont run in a nicasil barrel as if you are too easy on it, the ring will glaze and you will then lose power aprillia rsa 125gp were fired up from new, couple of blips on the throttle then it was slowly revved to 10000rpm for around 5 minutes to fully warm it up running in is for old iron shite running thick cast iron rings, and even honing is so much better on the iron kits that id say ive never run anything in ever if its built right and jetted well it should be ok, id also run it at 32-1 oil and re jet to suit

I couldn't be bothered. I'm running it at 3% mix which is your 32-1 I think.

more oil = more power, up to a certan point, with a direct into the barrel reed kits id run at 28-1, only to get that precious oil to the bearings as when on the pipe it will tend to suck it through the boyesen ports, helps to seal the rings too and as its air cooled you need all the help you can get
