You'll need to upgread the gearbox fro 3 to 4 gears. Jet wise, 85/90 should do.

Main jet on the link is for PHB carbs (24/25mm), you want one for the SHB.

Which do you think would be best? Also would it be worth putting a new crank in seeing as everything else will be new & uprated

Personally I would go for the 27/69 but other people prefer the 24/61. If the crank is an original piaggio, use it as is better quality. The polini kit comes with intstruction on how to cut it for better flow.

Those stud are good too, just a bit longer. If you decide to raise your port timing in the future, they'll allow for a packer.

Right, the lad on ebay who I bought the Polini kit off had sold out of them. He's done me a Mallosi one for the same price.
It's arrived today and it appears the cylinder head seal is just an o-ring and no gasket. Is this correct??
Also I've got a new gasket and seal set for the engine but I've not got a clue where all the o-rings are for, can anybody please point me in the right direction??
