I know the head gasket is just an o-ring, but I can't help you with all the little ones... One is for the kickstart shaft...?

The malossi head has no gasket, just the O ring. As for the rest of the O rings, one is for the kickstart, one for the gear selector arm and the rest......................pass. ;D

can you put a link up to the kit you have got, that may help... I can only think of o rings in the places mentioned, and on forks (disk ones anyway..)

Another O ring could be for the clutch arm and the rest are for the standard carb (as are some of the gaskets).

Thanks. I've just looked at my original crankshaft and the wristpin in the new Malossi kit. The diameter of the hole in the conrod is (12mm) too small for the wrist pin (15mm)? The part numbers on the original crank are 3762/S & 3657/S, & on the conrod 3722/S. Am I right in thinking this is a 50cc conrod & can I get away with just replacing that? Or would you just get a whole new crankshaft? You need to get a whole new crank, unfortunately. The 50 cranks have 12mm gudgeon pins and the 125s did indeed have 15mm pins. The biggest difference between the two is the stroke length, though. 50 cranks have a 43mm stroke, while the 125s have a 51mm stroke. You could put as long a rod on there as you like, but they're still going to be the same length stroke... It's the distance between the big end and the centre of the webs that matters in this instance. 20/20 and 24/25 are the sizes of the cones your flywhel sits on. Measure the inside of the bit where the flywheel sits on the crank, it ought to be between 19mm and 25mm. That wasn't me babying anyone, I just forgot the word for that bit myself...

I have a Varitronic kit on it, 19mm flywheel. Could you point me in the right direction for a crank please, I've not a clue? Will I be able to get one that goes straight in and doesn't require any milling etc?

Shaggy has one going here if you want... Second-hand, but it should work for what you're after. Clicky. Standard Primavera crank ought to be fine, no machining needed!

do you think that carbon clutch is a bit easyer to squeez on the hand then a single spring clutch ?
the girlfriend always has a problem pulling the clutch on her primavera...
