Really good writer , funny and easy style.
First novel Storage Stories , several other good ones as well.
Met him a few times on Solo tours and book readings etc , great bloke.

just finished the complete works of josephus, i can see why some say he wrote the christian gospels. the part covering the wars between the jews and the romans is a little barbaric such as killing the captives to see if they had swallowed any gold or silver, women eating there own children. etc etc etc

just ordered the penguin version of the egyptian book of the dead only 990 pages so it could take a while to get through it even if it has a fair few pictures in it
