Just a little post here to say I've used them and I'm very happy with the service. www.vespaframejig.piczo.com/?cr=6I sent my frame down to John last thursday and received it back tonight, that's less than a week even including the fact he was up in Loch Lomand for the whole of the weekend. Excellent communications before, during and after via phone, e-mail and text. We used www.parcelmonkey.co.uk/ with a weight of 20 KG, length of 160 cm, height of 65 cm and a width of 45 cm which came in at £16.83 with Citylink and took out insurance to the value of £300 for an additional £4. On the down side the frame has had a thump in transit so the top edge of the legshield got twisted and there was a big dent above the rear brake area which annoyed me but I've already beaten them back into an acceptable shape. Should you be inclined to use John I would recommend that you send him the frame before prep and paint. In all I'm very happy. John sent me a series of pictures after he received it showing it getting measured and straightened. According to him it was around 5mm out to the left at the bottom, around 15mm over to the right at the top and sitting back about 10mm than it should be. The pictures certainly showed this. Now I've got a straight frame again. ;D

Interesting Boss, yet to see if my PK frame isn't bent at all, its taking a couple of major dings on the side so odds on favorite its less than straight. Is that the frame which is going to get the 'slacker' treatment? seen your mudguard on SBW- very cool indeed!

Don't be ridiculous Hank. The only reason there's any pics up on SBW is cos Slacker has posted them. Note, the frame jig pics are only up on here cos the frame jig fella took them. Do you see a pattern emerging?

Cunts. ;D Thought for ages it was out but kept telling myself I was seeing things and it'd be fine. Was mock fitting some of Slacker treatment parts the other week and whilst pissing about with the Motovespa carrier I stared the fucker right through from the rear and thought "Yup, the bastard's twisted alright." Anyway, decided to bite the Bullet as there was no point going further until that got addressed.

Bearing cups came back tapped to the floor Iain but it's not a huge deal to refit them. He will knock them out FOC for you though.
Oh, got the invoice in from John today and £75 as he said so I'm happy enough. He also sent me a certificate saying the work had been done and showing how far it was out.

I used foil backed bubble wrap but mine must've had a healthy whack so I doubt whatever I did would've prevented that.
