Right, before I see anything else in a scooter magazine or on here that I want to do with me scoot I'm putting my ideas up front so no-one can say I nicked em. I have a 100 sport that I got off of Matty Baker that is the base for the project. I am going to be making this one H20 and I was considering trying to go down the Mito route for water cooling but then had a reality check and though why bugger about with that when Parma already do a kit. So it's gonna be a Parma H20 kit, reed valve. I will be fitting a belly pan, full width, to channel air through with twin rads as exit points at the rear to keep things nice and neat, and might have enough room for the pump under there too. I have a PK motor to power a full electric suite and I will be having LED indicators - fronts either on the handles like the chap in scootering this month (he won't send me a pic of how he's done it though) or down the side of the legshield (a butty box will keep this neat from the inside). Rear blinkers will either be in the frame around the curve of the panels or built into the seat along with rear/brake light. Number plate light is via a trick little bolt that you use to hold the plate on with. I have PK forks and will be fitting a disc with concealed master cylinder (will be having a look at how the Cosa set up works) and will fart about with the muddy to get a nice fit that looks like it was meant to be there. Scoot will be de-seamed. Hope to fabricate a long range tank too. SIP digi speedo up top, maybe tubeless rims and suitable suspension pretty much finishes it. Oh colour will be the first paint that CC bought for her ET3 which we still have (need to save some pennies somewhere!). So, I think that's about it ;D ;D This may take some time though but I will, of course provide lots of piccies as I go. Oh the title is a Secret Affair track by the way, but fits in many ways ;D

Good question Max, at the mo I'm not getting the work coming in tiling and plastering, so although I have lots of time on my hands I have no money and I still have a few jobs to do around the house first But hopefully around the end of March to start stripping it and really seing what's what. I'll try and get some pics next time I'm at me bros as it stands

Gioia, think time for action has already been used and I think only madmen laugh just fits in many ways, mad to do it, mad to ride smallies and (hopefully) any sneering and laughing biker/boy racer etc will get a shock when they see it go ;D Hank, asked him on fleabay (he is selling it) and he came back with a crap comment that he just wants to sell it and not take pictures or something similar. Thought thanks for nowt mate

So this is the base project then: Yes I know the front wheel is on the wrong way round (it was like that when I picked it up). Forks and hub are now for sale. Definately need a new floor, hope the centre frame is stil ok to support it and think I may need to do a bit fo fabricating on the left hand side where the curve starts The engine turns freely and clutch is also free. Apart from that can't say what condition it is in. Engine and leccy bits are for sale as I have a PK one to go in. Seat and light are for sale too.

Not too worried about the floor so long as the cetre frame is ok. Had the scoots out for a wee ride today, nearly got taken out by a Range Rover when I was turning right and he overtook me! Aparently you can hardly see my rear indicators on a sunny day but even so when someone slows down and moves to the centre of the road with sign posts for a right hand turn off it's pretty clear what they are doing, if I had turned a second earlier he would have hit me square side on at about 50-60mph! Wanker! Did you make the Ace run today? Had a look at the piccies posted but couldn't see you.

I remembered you had some fitting issues Tom and was looking through your project thread late last night. Unfortunately I fell asleep half way through the 17 pages Your photos don't appear any more either, have you removed them?

I remembered you had some fitting issues Tom and was looking through your project thread late last night. Unfortunately I fell asleep half way through the 17 pages Your photos don't appear any more either, have you removed them? yep photos removed as no longer using the site that hosted them & never got round to putting them back up. However, just for you Glynn.... 29419_127894207222887_100000069246682_312716_1224820_n by vespaloco, on Flickr 29419_127894197222888_100000069246682_312715_5048837_n by vespaloco, on Flickr the bracket has large holes (15mm?) on opposite sides to smaller (6mm) holes to allow a socket through the tubing (13mm socket) to access the nuts that hold the bracket onto a U-clamp (56mm) around the swingarm and also fix the exhaust c-clamps to the bracket. I cut the three bits of tubing approximately first, then marked and drilled the holes for the nuts/bolts, then assembled it in situ, clamping in place with mole grips, scribed the angles on it, then disassembled & welded up. Others have managed to fit their GF pipes using the bit of bent metal that they supply but in my case, it was so far out it was better to start again. Hope that helps

Finally got my pipe this week Yours looks a bit better finished than mine Tom, but the chap did say he was having prblems with his welder. Also got new floor (still need a bit more metal for front though at bottom of legshields - waiting for SIP to get them back in) a front butty box and disc brake. Need to see if I can hide all the gubbins for the disc brake, have a couple of ideas. Could almost get the scoot on the road now if I wanted a standard engine, but you know how it is ;D ;D ;D Has anyone got any info on a parmakit SP10 LC? I have only found one on ACME and they only have one picture of it and the text is Italian. Is this crank or direct induction? www.acme-specialparts.com/it//vespa/small-frame/gruppi-termici/sp10r-parmakit-144-vespa-liquid-cooled-3.html
