Max, yep, they do the 14-17 bhp water cooled direct induction that came out about the same time as the SP09. SP09 seems to produce better bhp though so wondered what the SP10 was like, looks almost identical except it has a black head and is 144cc - give me that in direct induction and I'd be well happy.
Noticed that acme also do a quatrini pump that looks like it is driven off of the flywheel, looks tidy but what happens to flywheel?

Check the parmakit website for more info on the SP10.
Wayne has fitted one of those pumps on his Rotax, he's probably the best person to ask.

Woo hoo, start a new job on Monday so will have some spare money coming in at last , my lovely missus is uying me a welder for crimbo and my dad has just about cleared out his garage which I hope to take over a corner of to do this. So all looking good for a new year start ;D
Think I may be going M1A Quatrini 1444cc instead of Parma kit now. Can anyone let me know what mods I will need to make to the cases for this (apart from the obvious porting)?

Trying to go as much "bolt on" as I can and see what I can get out of it as I'm not too technical minded (I can take things apart and put em back together again but that's about it).
If the 144 kit needs too much work I'll go for the 125 which looks like it is pretty much plug and play (did Sticky use 125 or 144 in the Underdog?). I will be looking for some degee of reliability as living in the North of Scotland the scoot will have to cover some miles.

Stickys is a 125 with 54 stroke, adds up to 133cc.
The m1a is watercooled, so youll need a waterpump etc.
If you go bolt on, no work is required to the cases. People mill down the gasketface to max out the transfer but thats not neccessary. There is a new version of the M1l, its called M1L 2011, go for that one if you go quattrini. Its got a new headdesign and some improvements are done to the ports aswell.

I'd keep it simple and air-cooled, LC kits and waterpumps etc. only means there's more things to go wrong.

Thanks for the comments guys. Although I want to keep it "bolt on" and fairly simple, I do want to do something a little different, hence H2O. Waterpump will be taken care of by the crank driven pump (goes where the flywheel would have been) so no electrical issues there. I don't want to have to machine the casings (eg for longer crank or the likes). Ben, you are at the top of my list when I get round to the welding

Right, the boss has nearly finished me barn roof so I can soon get the workshop area sorted and get on with this in the spring.
I am going to be ordering a complete new front apron and floor from SIP at the end of February so anyone that needs anything in the N East of Scotland and wants to save a bit of postage let me know and I can include it in my order.
Will be asking loads of questions as I am not overly technically minded (I think I may have mentioned this) so will probably be repeating lots of previously asked questions.
To get going some of your wise wisdom please folks - I have a mazzy crank, DRT tree, LC 144 M1A, GF project exhaust and an old style 30mm delly as the basic set up. I am not overly worried about balls out performance as I need this to be reliable so some sugestion as to what timing will work to allow me to sit at 60 all day with a nice handful in reserve for overtaking when I need to is what I'm after (is 80 top end too optimistic?). I would like to avoid hacking about the kit if I can get away with it so was wondering what I could expect from this set up with plug n play (I would match the cases to the barrell of course).

Looking forward to the picture story on this. An excellent parts list, hope the blasting doesn't reveal too much decay over what's already visible.

If you think the scooter was bad you should've seen what was masquerading as a roof.

Just be thankful that all smallframes and barn roofs weren't made by Lancia.

seen a review of this elsewhere ,mental, who buys a rally car copy an never drives it ,31 miles was the delivery distance ,i think the auction house estimated 40-60K ,but with the car being featured in national papers i'd guess 60-70K , an within 2 years of leaving its climate controlled garage rust bubbles n crazy lectric faults , H

Ooh, I have a barn I can see in during the daytime without putting the light on! Cheers boss, great job.
Wee reminder for anyone on NE Scotland that might want something from SIP, I am putting in an order at the beginning of March if you want to save a little on postage.
