Dug out wha I have for the scoot so far so just some confirmation that all is good with what I have so far and advice on what I need to add to the engine.
Early PK125 cases and large gears M1R water cooled 144 30mil Delly GFProject exhaust Mazz 20/20 big cone crank DRT short 4th xmas tree DRT uprated primary 27/69 Vespatronic (fits crank) Quattrini mechanical pump
I still need a clutch but the boss may have somethhing for me there but any advice on what would suit that doesn't require too much fettling would be welcome.
I think I may have menioned I want to pretty much go plug and play but will of course match the transfers and he casings will need the spigot opening up, so what would I be looking at here performance wise, do I need to bugger about with the large gears to get a nice ouring set up?

The spigot may not need opened up, I read on Angelo Zirri's site that the 60mm kits fit without it although I'm not sure if that's true. Try it first and see.

I had to open the spigot on mine with the Falc, but on my Parma LC I used Quattrini cases and they were fine.

Instructions say the 144 needs opening but 125 doesn't but I will offer it up and see to be sure.

Thanks to my wonderful better half this project is back on, it will be a slow process as I will be learning as I go along but I now have new leggies and floor to fit so I will be concentrating on the bodywork side of things first while I save up to re-purchase all the engine bits I sold!

unfortunately needs dictated at the time Henri, at least some of the guys on here got some good bargains out of it and I didn't have to sell everything, just enough to get us through a tough patch. Looking forward to getting stuck in now, will take my time and try and do things right as I can be a bit impatient as I have been an office boy all my life so some technical things take me longer to understand than for others. If I get good enough with the basic welding I might knock up a few bits to try and pay for some goodies

i always say "you cant be taught to weld ,just shown the basics an learn by trying" , ya get a "feel" for whats happening , learn on fresh steel as its easier ,then get a old car door/wing an re-learn on old steel,it acts different . an ive been there ,havin a "fire-sale" coz of necessity, but in the downtime youve still been watchin the rest on here ,noting the advancements an latest kits/ignitions .so have a chance to build a better engine with better understanding ,an who knows if the bargain hunters havent used the stuff might return it home in a non-profit manner.cant hurt to ask , H
