Its two weeks to the day Trevor!!!!!!! So whats this news!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D The Dates are nearly done just wating to sign a contract for a new event once i have that in the bag i will go public,,,,Trev Yes we are now running the track at the Back to the Mods event at Santa Pod with a scooter shootout type event,,, with some cracking awards for the winners ,,,,Trev

Not looked at any rules but a glance at drag / sprinter bikes would suggest that front brakes aren't always required and common sense would say that the rear is required for no other reason than hauling the rear back into line if it starts going a little squiffy.

Im sure front and rear are required. at least when mine was scrutinised the guy checked thoroughly that both brakes worked.

Pete Newbold has just let me know that he tried to use only one brake to try and save on weight but he was told that he had to use both.

Can anyone tell me, am I ok to just have a front brake only on my sprinter? You need two brakes one front and one on the back if you are looking to save on weight pop into a cycle shop and look at the BMX disc brakes the now do, they are very light and they work

Forgot I'd asked this question million and one things going round me head ;D Thanks for the replies chaps, I have the front disc brake , its the rear pedal I was thinking of as I have not thought about the pedal setup, so I'm going to have to incorporate that style of bike setup from the footpeg as the lever on the bars will be for the clutch, cheers
