I'm thinking of ordering some bushes at the end of next month and wondered if anyone else is intrested. www.claussstudios.com/id1.htmlI've dealt with Greg and he's a proper gentleman, and to be fair,it would probably be cheaper for individual orders to be placed with him unless there was a reasonably substantial order going in. Jim,I bought one of his steel, urethane bushes for P ranges a few years back and I've got to say it's the mutt's nuts,if you're thinking of changing yours soon it's well worth investing in especially at the exchange rate we're getting just now.

Not checked mine yet but I'm probably interested.
Is this the "Rear Shock to frame mount upgrade" bit?
Does it still work in the same way - thread the shock into it, and then a threaded rod goes through the frame?
Do you need to drill the frame?
Hows it all work?

Yup,rear shock to frame upgrade. It's a very simple and clever design.Basically it fits like the normal bush with an auxillary fixing point where you see the allen head which needs another hole drilled into the frame. This means you have a double saftey margin over the shitty, standard set up. Firstly,if the extension bolt shears it's threads from the bush it's still sleeved by the cage and encased in urethane slightly so it won't just "collapse". On the other hand,if the top of bush shears the thread then you still have the secondary bolt securing it to the frame. I will say that it does help firm up the wayward back end of my porky bus no end and it instills confidence in pushing it around corners and riding 2 up.

I presume it fits okay? The normal ones have a diagonal corner at one end don't they? Could do with 4 of them...

I talked to Greg about this about a year ago. He told me that the rear shock mount won't work on smallies. I assume it will though just haven't tried it myself. He told me it is specifically for P series scooters. I am using his urethane motor mounts though and think they are great.
