theres a long thread going on at moment on the other (dull) group/forum about HP4's - has anyone on this board actually had first hand experence of one? theres obviously a power boost, but the concern that i have is the weak/dim lights problem which keeps cropping up

i had one on a large frame engine. it made a big difference to the pick up, really revy, i liked it.... my scooter din't have indicators just a head light and tail light, so there wasn't any big need for electricity.. it seemed ok on that front.... i was comparing it to a heavy px flywheel though, i guess a lightened pk flywheel wouldn't that much heavier than a hp4??? dunno?? at least with the pk you know the magnets are stronger.... i don't have problem with them and would get another if i had the money....

I have one on my PK. There is no problem with lights what so ever. And there is noticeable difference in performance.

Is there any noticeable drop in torque?
I thought that was the big balancing act, torque vs top end.
