Picked a nice frame up of lambro ... So gonna have a bit of fun with it ... got an old PX engine 166 top end . bit of porting on the casings opened up the barrel as-well . Came across this crank , looks like its been cut Prepping the frame ready for paint ...

Been using it as a frizbee mate Tho ? found some nice colours at the local BQ, Funky colours rang .. matt emulsion less than 20 sovs all in PLUS may have some left over for the bathroom Bargain or what

Nope you are very right But with a few coats ov laquer over it it should be fine all paints are changing to waterbased now .getting some nice results with poster paint aswell Fraction of the price aswell ;D

Just normal prep on a primer base , added a bit of water gave it a few coats went on a bit orange peel ish but then dried back ok the black was Blackboard paint . dabbed with a sponge , Hope this helps

lookin good mate - yeah tell us the secret of good lacquering please. build it up slow mate , give time between coats 3/4 coats usually. dont panic if you get any runs . sometimes you can turn what ever your spraying upside down and get rid of some small runs
