Whats the easiest to put casings back together when a one piece (pk type) flywheel bearing is being used. I've read about putting crank in clutch side casing and warming flywheel casing up before fitting and i've also read "put xmas tree and crank in flywheel side and then offer up to the main casing. Just lookin for the most logical option here. Cheers

probably the warming up method mate. Christmas tree in fly side first and crank in clutch side with fly brg on. Heat fly side and fit..put fly seal when cooled down..

Hindsight must be a wonderfull thing but i get the impression the single piece bearing with large cone crank is actually a sack of shit when it comes torebuild time. How easy was my two piece bearing with small cone crank to put together.
Is there a crank which takes hp4 and a two piece bearing for et3 cases??/////////

yes, pk xl. takes same brg as et3 .. nu204 i think is number. Split type. Solid bearings is best for a hi performance motor tho as any lateral load is shared between both brgs.
