Hi again! Due to the rebuild of my "Bastard", I've to change the bearings in my Sip Conversion fork, aka PKXL2 fork. This bearing; How am I supposed to get the old bearing out of the fork?

Take it to an engineers with a hydralic press to remove and then refit after you've done the work needed.

Ok, can I just press the old bearings through the fork? I thought I had to take them out one on each side... But thanks! Take it to an engineers with a hydralic press to remove and then refit after you've done the work needed.

to get these serated plates out, you have to hit their centre with a punch (approx. 8-10mm dia). Then you can press out the the pin along with needle bearings.
For assembly: see my topic >Fork link tool etc.<

Ok, that makes sense! I'll try that! Due to assembly, I'll use a local workshop with hydraulic press.. to get these serated plates out, you have to hit their centre with a punch (approx. 8-10mm dia). Then you can press out the the pin along with needle bearings. For assembly: see my topic >Fork link tool etc.<
