2 bolts thro the frame - ok, the other which goes into the central cable/wire channel isnt threaded or the welded nut has come off?
was thinking of using plastic metal/jb weld or similar to either fix a nut behind the hole or even a short bolt thro the hole. will this last ok? can't see how you can weld a nut to the rear, can't really get to it properly.

There is supposed to be a clip with a threads in there.

the holes round not square, its exactly the same size as the other two which bolt thro to the floorboards, so i can't see how that clip could have fitted.

motovespa v series. yeah i guess i could dremel/file it square, just thought that epoxy weld would fix a nut at the back or bolt thro' the hole.

that must have been what was on. the metals worn in a similar shaped way, so it must have been a slide on clip. if i can't find one like that i think i'll just adapt the hole to take a square one!
