Hello. I have been lurking on this board for months. I finally decided to join, say hi, and ask questions. I sometimes have a hard time understanding the humor on here. I don't always know the slang. Either way, this is probably the best smallie board around (in English). I have a 50 special with the square headset. I have no clue how to get my light to stay in place. I just recently acquired two springs and a mounting plate that attaches to the headlight. What I don't know is how the springs attach near the speedo. Am I missing a bracket? These bikes weren't import to the United Snakes. I've asked around here but no one seems to know. Any help here? Thanks, Josh PSMSC

Yes, same headset. I know how the springs hook to the headlight, I just don't know where they hook near the speedo.

Then UnreliableSC is your man. After three... Oh UnreliableSC... Oh Unreliable-SCee... ;D ;D Hmm. My English isn't really good enough to explain it, and i don't have a good photo of the headset. But, you basically hook the springs in the cutouts behind the throttle and gear tubes (the holes the clutch and front break cables pass through ). I can take a photo for you on Thursday if you want me to.
