Thinking of swopping the standard exhaust for a sito+, as I'm told this should give another 3 to 5 mph. Is it a straight forward replacement that a novice could have a go at. Could anyone suggest the best way to start. (Notice there about £40 on beedspeed) Forgot, got a PK100XL frame and a PK50, two different exhausts on Beedspeed, would they fit the same and does anyone have a clue as to which one I should order. if its the std PK50 engine, then you want the PK50 one, the others for 80/100/125 cylinders.
its a pretty easy job, unless the bolts on the exhaust elbow or cylinder are rusted! you might want to get a new exhaust elbow anyway, only about £2.99. on my leo vinci, i have to prop the engine up and take the wheel off to get at the bolt going thro the swingarm, but i dont think you have to do that with the std box.

Anyone claiming that from a 50 is talking utter bullshit.Yes the exhausts are restrictive but the worst part of this is down to the standard elbow.Have a look on SIP for exhaust elbows, they make a stainless steel one and Polini certainly used to do a free flow one although I'm not sure they're still available.

So basically, don't waste my money, but get some form of kit on it to improve performance

I'd go with either a Polini,Leo Vince or SS50/Racer/SR type banana if you're considering any up-grades in the future. If you're not and the exhaust is in good nick then I wouldn't bother for the time being.
