ha Charlie's engines dont blow up mate... clutches can fail as you know but 'his' department works fine unless of un expected circumstances as in jets getting blocked at 11,000 rpm First race will be around 11 I guess.. only two geared and two auto races. I wouldnt get there for the afternoon tbh... bit of a wasted day. I'd get there for tenish

We're going up by car (Carla's scoot will still be at painters) so if you need to sleep off work we can give you a lift.

Nice to meet you today Tony, and you Marcus. Good racing today Tony and John, definately better second races than the first. Tony, did you ease off in the second race? Thought you were going to have a good battle for second spot but on lap 3 or 4 you seemed to drop away.
Charlie is still the man to beat though. His motor is just amazing, it doesn't even sound as if it's stressing either, seems effortless.
Enjoyed the day, hope the lad who had the spill on the auto is OK.

I had Tony on the 'phone on his way home briefly, think he had some trouble with my accent. ;D He said he cooked the clutch in the second race so had to nurse her to the finish.

he cooked the clutch in the second race Thats a shame I think I remembering him saying on one of his posts that he was trialing some new clutch plates? I guess it must be back to the drawing board with them
