I'm not a fan of 4 plate clutches, never got one to work properly yet. >:(I think Minikin has a method on improving then though.
Alternatively you could convert to a 3.5 plate by losing one of the steels and stripping the corks off the lower face of the bottom plate.

Theory is there's more space to disengage. Not tried it myself yet but I've put the lateral head on Aunt Sally, and it makes sense.
Will be trying it on the POS I've got floating around the garage.

i only used this type clutch as it was a sugested item with the 115 cc kit ! i wonder if i would have been better off with new clutch corks & a stronger spring on my old clutch ? i did have a bit of clutch slip on my old clutch when i had a dr 102 kit before i seized that. it seemed to slip when trying to kick start as well i take it thats due to higher compression ? sorry i'm new to the site & forgot to say hallo everyone. nice to see other people who like pk's

Hi and welcome BTW,forgot my manners.
I'm presuming you're taking advice from SIP?Hit or miss there.I'd go with a 3 plate with a stronger spring on that set up.Your slipping on the previous kit could be down to a weak spring but equally it could be down to slack in the cables.
