It doesn't run. Starts after a few kicks, and idles nicely, but twisting the throttle has no effect. Nice far spark. Takes a long time to rev it in neutral, and i will barely pull 1st. The slide opens fully, and fuel are getting trough. I doesn't bog at all, there is juts no power. I have limited tools at my place, but i tried swapping the coil, didn't help. Is there some tricks in how to troubleshoot a points-system? haven't had a scooter with points for years. i.e what does worn points look like, how do i know if the condenser is bad... It's not fun when you think you are buying a good scooter , and it doesn't run, the front fender is loose, light's aren't working, rear light lens falls of etc... If it's to much work getting it running I will just park it until i got a new engine ready.

Points are a proper pain in the arse. The points and condensor are very cheap though,I think I payed less than £10(15 euro-ish) for them at SIP the last time, just make sure the gap is set right. And my money would be on your old ones being buggered or well on their way out, you'd be as well fitting new parts if you intend to pull the flywheel to set them anyway. Oh yeah,150 Super/Rally 200 tailight?WTF is that about then?

I think I'll just pull off the stator, and replace everything then. Lights aren't working, so i guess the stator could be fucked, might as well replace it if i find a good one. My mate has the same taillight on his 90 Racer:

Must be a Nordic spec. then.
If your stator is dodgy then I should have a few lying about.Probably be cheaper for you to have it rewired than me posting one across though.

Thanks for the offer.
I guess I could throw in a new crank, and swap the stator if you have a good one. Then I could spend a Sunday and put in new seals while I'm in there. That way I can put a working motor on the shelf when I got a new one ready.
how should we do it then? paypal you the money for shipping?

PayPal is fine with me.Got a few good cranks but I couldn't swear to the condition of the stators as I've not tested them. Will we go to PM now?

Does the 90 Racer/SS crank have longer inlet timing than a standard smallframe? Think I read that once.

Got it running today. Thanks you very much for the crank Juan! Don't know what's wrong with some people. The engine was freshly rebuilt (inside of cases look like new, all bearings was new, new clutch etc...) The barrel was recently re bored, the piston still had 47,29 written on it inside the skirt. But the old crank had a shot main bearing as well as the fucked keyway... We even found a 90racer stator in my mates garage. Rebuilt it with new points and condenser, and it fired right up. Runs really well, to bad I have to run in the new piston... What gearing are in the SS motors? feels like there is a 2.54 in there, a bit to long for the small 90... Needs a wash tho, white scooters get very dirty while you wrench on them....

Yeah, know what you mean regards rebuilds. >:(When I got the ETS the motor wasfreshly rebuilt but the barrel had fins missing and the piston was fucked. It had obviously been heat siezed at least 3 times and the rings were almost welded to the piston. Fucktards.
