hi mate, I don't know the in and outs of using a pk(12v system) with a et3 stator. But I use one on my et3 but its a 12v system now with a regulator. Firstly you need to get a volt meter on the junction box and read the output of the lighting circuits when you rev the bike up. You may find the circuit (might be yellow on et3 loom)thats over producing current and you may simply be able to regulate this circuit or get the offending coil rewound. If it was me I'd rewire and reswitch the whole bike to 12volt with a beedspseed or sip conversion loom(or make yer own). hope this helps.

thanx for that tony i will get out the multimeter and see what the voltage is, if there is a contradiction between the flywheel and stator i will switch to 12 volt as the bulbs are more easily available, will keep you posted on my findings................PS is this the same tony from scoot racing uk forum? thanx Damian
