just wondeing about peoples differing opinions on polishings engine bits? i've allways thought polishing exhaust ports seemed sensible to reduce the chances of deposits and possibly impove flow, same goes for head and piston crown... transfers?? some people do it for flow?? some people say leaving a satin finish helps mix fuel/air? anybody got any opinions on this? does anyone know of any dyno evidence to support tranfer polishing/not polishing? cheers, o

I think as long as the ports are flowed with no bumps/casting marks ect polishing is not really needed Polishing the cylinder head/exhaust is a good idea though

Yeh Ditto, head and exhaust nice and polished to reduce build up, transfers etc IMO suffer from being polished......thats only my opinion though ;D
