just fitted a brand new mallosi kit to my px it says in the leaflet thing 2 run it in for 45mins but when you ask other people they all say no you have two run it in for 300 or 400 mile whos right mallosi or what im at a loss as two who two belive

Well, I'll go with what malossi says. After all they make the kit. BTW, I run in my malossi on the dyno. ;D

Running IN EH! ...........i call it bedding in .... ;D Personnely i bed in ring pieces at about 100 miles .....bore , rings and small end 250/300 BUT as MAX rightly says if it says on the box 300/400 id stick with that if your not sure .... i put about 50 miles on me lardy225 ring pieces before nailing it ,and shes stil a ripper

If it's an alloy / nicasil for a 172 / 210 then about an hour is plenty but if an iron 166 I'd give it a few hundred miles at least.

A mate of mine run his 210 kit for about 150 miles, put it against my well run kit a nipped up twice on the way to Brid last year. I'd take it staedy for a while, not so much speed but keep your revs down whilst running in.
