Hi guys,
got the clutch out of the scoot but the clutch basket was left behind. Is this right or should it of come out with the clutch?
I need to get the clutch basket out as it looks damaged so I want to replace it. How do I get it out? the engine is still in the scoot at the moment.
This is a a scoot I am restoring and its the first time that I have taken the clutch out.
Any advice on what to do greatley received.

No,that's right enough the clutch comes out seperately of the basket.Taking the basket out can be a total pig of a job, esspecialy if you're leaving the motor in the bike.Personally I'd reccomend you go have a look at the engine rebuild pages in scooterhelp and smallframes.com(page 2 in the link section) then haul it out of the bike and strip it down on the bench or kitchen table. ;D
