Ok - I've got a PK50S with a DR 110 top end kit on it and a del'orto SHBC 1919 carb which has been jetted to match... Run's like a dream. Still only get about 40 to 45mph out of her on a good day (Probably Something to do with being a fat B'stard) For those of you who've seen my scoot it's modded up with lots of lights and mirrors (and before anyone says anything, taking them all off doesn't make any difference to the speed - they all come off for the MOT every year) Anyway round to my question... How easy is it to fit an upgear kit to a smallframe engine? Do I need any specialist tools - (already got a Clutch and Flywheel puller) What's the best kit about and how much is it likely to cost me?? Is it worth it? ?(Will I only get another 5 to 10 mph out of her??)

i would guess at early fifties if its upgeared? - you will need to split the cases though, prob won't need much more in the way of tools, though once you split the cases, you start to think of at least new oil seals, gaskets, maybe bearings too, upgear kits about £30 to £35. maybe a reinforced clutch spring too.
