OK I've seen 50's 90's 100's with 130/5 kits in. Does that mean they have had an engine transplant or can you put a 130/5 kit on a smaller case?
If so what needs to be done.
Just thinking...

the way i understand it is that you can put 130/5 kits on 80/90/100/125 engines, but if you want to go farther than a 115 on a 50, then you need to change the crank (and maybe new cylinder studs?). of course, you'll want to change the gearing, carb, etc with a kit anyway.

They'll fit a 50 block if you replace the 43mm crank for a 51mm.Usually faffing about after that.

measure the size of the spigot hole, some very early 50s have small spigots and wont fit without machining (std 50 and std 90s in new zealand- usa may be different)
