just had a long talk with my supplier he suggested an alternitive seal 22 47 7 R23 its a double seal fits on crank ok he said the .7 differance is ok [should be a tighter seal]and second seal will keep oil out anyone used this before?

I personally hve not used it - but I heard that on flywheel side its useful as outer seal keeps dust of whereas inner lip can longer do the job as a air / fuel-oil seal. Drive side? well try andtell us.
Is the material the viton-type? brand of seal? there we are - more qestions than answers

yas marcus they are vitron seals and are made by MFC[no one likes us] will try out on next rebuild but that may be some time away.
