hello im new here altho i have been looking at this site for a while
i am a user of the lcgb/wkfasc forums my handle is stevo 42 the same here i know some of you post on there and the SBW site so a couple of Q,s
i have a 50,s with a taffspeed sprint engine that was built in the late 80,s by terry franklin and mark green it was for a guy called declan bednall-smith who lives in my home town of cheltenham the scoot had a daytime MOT as the fly wheel was a fan a thin disc of alloy and the center boss running a total loss points system the person who i bought it of tried to fit a flywheel from another vep as he wanted to have lights in doing so he completely shaged both the flywheel and the crank i stripped the motor and now want to put it back toghether mark green(gp2,3and 5 and championship race winner fuck knows how many times for team vespa ) has given me one his spare race cranks and new flywheel side bearing i have heared about differant cranks and differant bearings the crank has the vespa logo on it and the rod is polished it has large amounts cut out for the inlet and measures 20mm were the bearing sits
the bearing is a ntn one and the no is n204et2x and has a plastic cage the inner is 20mm so will fit the crank and it is 14mm wide so will these be ok i will put the full spec of the scooter up if anyone is interested i hope with the help of you lot to get this scooter ready soon i want to run lights so any sugestions as to ign and flywheel (cheap as poss) many thanks steve
