Hi, I guess it all depends on how much history about it you know, definately make sure the the brakes are working OK, check on the state of the spark plug, might want to change the engine oil. See if they're any sign of burnt cork in the old oil. Visible checks on the tyres, make sure all the wheel nuts etc are tight. Start engine, pull clutch in select gear, does it try and creep forward, gentle test ride, select all gears and test brakes. They'll be other things that I've missed off. (cables not frayed at connection points, smooth operation of controls) Regarding the indicators, check bulbs, check connectors and earth. If I remember the rear indicators have their own earth whereas at the front they share a single earth. Swop the bulbs around and clean the connections with a bit of emery cloth. The rear indicators can be swooped over with one aother as can the front just to get a clearer idea as to where the fault may be. Not turning off with the key, I'd check the ignition and earth wire are connected ok first. Rob

4 months is bugger all tbh. not enough time for the oil and petrol to go off anyway. as rob says do a little road test. run yourself a little home MOT check tires, lights, brakes, indicators, horn etc. also check nothing has seized up.
as for insicators check there are no dry solder joints on the switch and the flasher unit functions correctly.
