might be getting an XL frame.......... for my spare engine. havent looked at one close before, whats it with the side panel locks, i gather they arent like normal PK ones, you have to open the seat to unlock the panels? is this right? some sort of cable system. can you fit PKS panels?

pull locks from under seat i have a set :)not sure if panels interchange the lock clip is further back on xl panels i may have a set of these 2 will check if u need

right, so you have to pull the cables upwards do you? do you still need a key or not? i think panels may be with the frame, but not 100%, i'll have to go have a look. of course if i get the angle grinder out to trim down the back end, I may not need them !

no visiable locks on panels,lift seat and u have 2 knobs one on each side of petrol tank these connected 2 locks by cables

Ill let you know once i've seen frame - can you fit them to normal pk's, they do look better then solid panels imho might be interested regardless.

Just checked a XL panel against a normal PK,the catch is definately 1.5-2" further forward.Probably not worth the hassle moving them for a PK but that's your shout.You know I've got them sitting anyway.
