I think your fellow Norwegian has pictures to identify the selectors of them by. Basically the PK and XL1 are essentially the same, the XL2 uses a different, single cable and selector mechanisum.I couldn't tell you off hand if Scooterhelp can't.

Hi
I thinks it is indeed a Vespa PK engine as the XL mounted the V5X3M
In detail: PK50 V5X1M PK50S V5X2M PK50XL V5X3M PK50 Rush V5X4M 50 N V5X5M
I'm not too sure what the difference is beetween The "1" and the "2", the engine "3" had totally different gearing, the engine "4" boasted 2bhp as result of relaxed Italian highway codes (and thats why the Rush was a success among youngsters over there) and finally the engine "5" is the one with one selector cable only.

Why do you need to know, the way I see it, you make it whatever you need it to be.. Some Early PK's: 2-bolt inlet, 19mm oil seal. Later pre-XL motors has the same specs as the XL1. XL1 3-bolt inlet, 20mm oil seal XL2 Single cable gear selector. 125XL/ETS 3-bolt inlet, 25mm flywheel-side bearing, 24mm oil-seal. XL1: XL2:
