OK, simple answer from worb.
They use their own 1mm gaskets that cover the bost port, and can seal even with the overhang...... "it is only a small overhang"!
Shame about the 18 Euro shipping for 2 gaskets!!
So does anyone have a 2 or 3 squares of 1mm high grade alloy big enough for a polini base gasket they would like a few pounds for?!?

go to your local engineering place and ask them they might even have skipped some bits

Whoops!
I have just put my engine together and with a 1.5 mm packer, have ended up with an exhaust port opening at 190!! And i haven't even dremeled the port yet!
This is a little wilder than i was hoping for..... so does 190 seem about right to others out there with the GS piston conversion and 4.5mm taken off the bottom of the cylinder? Or have i got this completely wrong.
Either way I think i'll be going for a 1mm plate to calm it down a little ...... and a VSP Race so it matches.... so i guess it's not all bad ;D

You will probably need a short 4th if you are going to run 190 exhaust timing, especially if you're a bit of a lardy lardyconvert

I am really sorry to revive a thread that is already 13 years old BUT I am in need of some help, direction and Guidance with a build where i have made use of a Worb5 Polini GS set up as my base....
Please if anyone here has some tech advice and able to check my build details to give suggestions I would be so grateful this build is coming onto 7 years now and I have still not spent any decent time on the bike
