Im looking for a really good, durable and strong smallframe crankshaft - at least 20 mil cone size - will be used with a worb 5 polini modified cylinder kit, case inducted reed (possibly an HHP)
I have heard the Worb5 special lip reed cranks are supposed to be good, but I dont know if i have to do the same amount of excessive milling to the cases as I had to do with my large frame cases and full circle crank.
I cant read german but the grandsport site looks like it has some really good stuff.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Off the top of my head I'm not sure,I'm sure sure Oz,Curare etc can help here.
You can fit the ETS/XL(24/25mm) crank with conversion bearings which means a suitable flywheel and clutch obviously for the strongest option which will mean either a Mazzechelli,Worb5 etc or have one modified from standard.
If you're in the UK I'm sure Oz can do the work for you if you're intrested.

Hi, long time no see I personally would NOT go for an ETS-crank as you would have to use the smaller conversion bearings then and possibly end up changing your bearings more often than your pants. A 20mil crank perfectly copes with your intended setup, specially in conjunction with an HP4 flywheel. re milling: on smallframes the pre-compression ration is not kinda issue such as on LF's. simply smoothen and widen everything. german but a few pictures from ...to..... : www.vespa-hamburg.de/pages/projekt.php?show=000026

Fair point @ Marcus and a very nice link.
I just favour an ETS /XL crank for torsional strength but I appreciate the bearings will be the weak point in a V/Primmy conversion.
Marcus,it's time you showed us your GS down in the projects section properly now. How's that Pinasco piston working in the 207?
