Good luck with the project, nothing a sand blasting and some welding won't cure on that bike! Notice you have two holes up high and two holes low on the legshield, do you know what has been mounted here? Luggage rack?

Great looking project, are you sure it needs blasting, I'd thought a spot of T-cut would have sorted it out no problem ;D BTW I have the same holes on my PK project, I just assumed they were manufactured that way. ;D

probably from some from crashbars. top ones quite wide apart so may have had bars from lammie or lardy vespa. Classic 80s paint job, but the mudguard and leggies look quite undamamaged.

well spent a couple of hours last night getting the last bits ready for the blasters today going to drop it off and hopefully have it back for the weekend then its a class of trying to fill of so the holes etc and start work on the engine

dropped the baby off at the blasters today at 9am hoping my mates dad can sort it for me today but he also powdercoats as well and said he'd do it for me on a very good price just need to sort out the patching going to ring around a couple of places

well started on the engine today head down to halfords and picked up for gunk engine cleaner and some wire brushes and got to work... spent 4 hours in the sitting today removed the majority of dirt/grease/oil built up over the 7 years of use and dead spiders/cobwebs/rotten mouse from the 20 years in a shed! lol going to finish it it the morning then i'll upload the before and after photos just brought a case of old speckled hen lol

does anyone know where i can get the rubber seal for the flywheel that the cable goes through the original has fell to bits
