Damage to legshields which is being done as we speak. Headsets on way-should be next week I hope. Leathers and lid.. the lid is a killer as I have to replace it... bugger. But the motor is ok and didnt suck in any dirt. I ran that massively over geared too.. i never really got into fourth but I really didnt want to strip the motor to fit the lower drt gear set. I'm gonna have to put some rubber trim on the legshields I think. That would of at least lessened the damage.

This has been an awesome day for scooter racing and for me as a spectator. Good to meet Daz,Ben the biker lump and briefly see Marcus the stoffi spy. ;D I thought the day was fantastic. What did you think fellas? I know the truck people were shocked with the lap times which was similar if not quicker than them and thats no mean feat considering they have 1200 bhp. Teamwoodspeed was getting to grips with his Falc and for the first time did not need oxygen after the race! He was even able to speak (albeit in broken scouse) although I still couldnt understand him..I think he said "pills, give me pills" or something! ... And as for that Ste"quattrini" Pollitt well... the scoundrel flew round and then made me get me spanners out just as the beers were being offered.. I dunno ;D I'll let these two tell the real race stories of the weekend. Good luck tomorrow fellas.

just got this off the scooterotica site
Ryan beat the scooter lap record with an amazing 1:29.325 lap, 78mph average speed and won the race from last place on the grid, whats bonkers is he did that time on the 3rd lap which was the lap he looked up at the paddock grandstand, waved and then went all the way down the straight looking back with his hand above his eyes, as if to say where is everyone else.

Well as Tony said it was a top weekend, practice went well but i was a little disappointed with my lap best time of 1m 50.463 secs so we altered the power jet and race 1 was better 1m 43.164 race 2 was better still 1m 41.847 and race 3 1m 41.168 Sunday i managed a 1m 39.116 and a 1m 40.534 not too bad considering im still learning the ss and getting the handling sorted. Great to meet some of you lads and put faces to you, hope you enjoyed it, i did ;D Oh in race 3 on sunday i raced my old zip sp and it was;nt as quick as the SS.

Well thats a relief mate! If it were faster you'd have something to worry about to be sure. You did well tho john. Its very different to the zip eh?!!
