im only messin to m8,i should have known really as once you mentioned it,i remembered putting a new wire from coil on the smallie i had ;D ;D dont know wat to do with the engine now,being that its only 2 port ? I know mate, we are all a bunch of p*ss takers really I personally would finish it as is, 2 port. And ring Dan a few more times, till he caves in and sorts you a pX lump to rebuild over time, and do a straight swap later in the year. You can still run the 8" set up on a PX, with a few swaps on the rear end. Get it one the long and steady road first, then worry about it.

Get it one the long and steady road first, then worry about it. so you saying the same as dans saying then,put a px lump in with the 10 inch wheel 350X10 tyre and hub back end ,and run with what i have already on the front,with the 8inch and 400x8 tyre?

No, I am saying stick a PX lump in it, change the rear hub oil seal for a Super one, and put your back plate, hub etc on it and run 8" on front and rear. The better power should pull the tyre size you are running and can be kitted as well.
But, first off, I would finish it as is, and have a bit of fun, whilst building the new lump in the shed.

right i fitted the engine with the 166 kit,had a wee problem,the c clip from the gudgeon in the piston came out,what a mess,oh well stripped down engine,noticed basket was split so replaced that with new plates aswell also new oil seals,then i go fuck the stator up,so waiting on delivery of that,hopefully then all will be good,fingers crossed........ ;D

He did, and he broke it ;D Then he fixed it, And broke it again Then he E-bayed it, and it didn't sell, so I think he is gonna have another pop at it this summer. Looked luvverly as well
