It looks like a cheaper version of the M1.

mmmmmmmm interesting. If this is new and good it might have a good trickle down effect in reducing the price of other kits, good all round then ;D

that wont make 21hp. the brand new m1r 09 race kit only makes 22 on a uk dyno.. remember when the Germans posted up a youtube of the original m1r making 31hp and then the kits came over here with 31hp written on the box? Its posted on here somewhere..Well,, they made 24hp at 12500/13000 rpm. And this is a reed valved stupid high revving thing..and the high revs is how they got the high 24hp. The rotary valve system cant flow enough. It possibly could with a proper pipe and some mad thought but this would be a race only thing and wouldnt be nice to ride on the road.

So what would be a more realistic figure for a kit like this, matched to casings with rotary reed induction, a 24/25mm carb and a mid weight flywheel?
I'm still quite interested as its only a little bit more money than a polini and quite a bit cheaper than the more exotic kits out there.

The problem is to get enough gas in you'll need big rotary timings which generally only really start to work high up the rev range.. so the 'rotary-reed' well... its still feeding through that small hole..maybe someone else has more thoughts on these? Maybe with the vsp3 race pipe they mention i'd say 15 on a realistic dyno.

At that price, given I could use it with the engine parts that I already have - ie no need to buy a new crank, manifold, flywheel, exhaust etc etc, I'd be happy to get that sort of power. Not that I am even in any way bored with what I am getting from my DR130 yet
