Well for those who have been to watch before you know what its about. Mallory is good to watch at. I'm on 20th on grid (as i didnt race 3 sisters) I'm aiming for second place as what i got last time in first race..I dont intend to be nose diving off curbs this time as i did in the second! Esc champ Stoffi is over with two other austrians-one on a 250 lambretta. The green thing should be back up to full power this time after a lot of work. heres a clip of the hornet in practise at 32 secs in. hope to see any of you there..come say hello!  |

No, unfortunately I didnt race as my dad was taken ill in the night. I eventually got to mallory by 12.30 to watch. They wouldnt let me race as I hadnt 'practised' in the morning which is a legal requirement. Very gutted because the bike has had hours of prep by me and charlie this week to get it back to full spec as it was down on power at the last mallory.
My fastest lap wasnt beaten though from last time.
Stoffi raced but on sticky's 90ss. He was doing a 1.17 lap or thereabouts. He had had some trouble with his own race motor.

found this.. on board with Bert Coneely from the last mallory. Green thing is visible at 2.40 or so and then for another corner.

Well worth mentioning that Michi Pesendorfer was in 10th position when a cable of the CDI on his lardy largeframe flower power Sportique broke.  Stoffi actually seized his Falc in a show-off session atthe Eurolambretta the day before.  He came 14th or 15th on Sticky's not really competitive 90SS. |

Good to see em. Michael rode well and so did stoffi on Sticky's 90SS. It shows the difference in tracks from Europe to th Uk as Sticky won his class in Joingy last year.
However.. how on earth did Stoffi seize his race bike by just lambretta bashing?.. that wouldnt have lasted long on the track when real heat is being generated.
He showed me the barrel.. bloody shame.. bit of work gone into that. I wonder if it was set up lean for sprinting?

Don't know what exactly caused this, really looked pretty f****d. has he still been using the PWK - repro carb? Maybe fuel starvation - but in actuall fact I have no clue and did not bother to ask him.

I doubt very much Stoffi would run a crap Pwk tbh. And there is no way on earth would Lauro specify a pwk carb. It would have been a dellorto if Lauro advised Stoffi.

There is a bar. camping... i reckon so. Try to find out mate. That weekend is a massive weekend if it comes off.,. we are a support race for porsche cars, tryck racing, and what not. 30/40,000 people will be there.. brolly dollys etc

Yeah marcus, thats scott on a dragster 180- 30 hp thing by ryan saxelby. Thing is good as it is dragsters dont handle and scott is some 7 secs a lap off the fast race time set by the likes of the charlie, hornet,stuie etc. |
