name: vesmoto desc: vespa lump with polini gp3 moto cylinder bore: 40mm stroke: 43mm capacity: 54cc cooling: water primary: 22/63 power: 8-16hp depending on final setup not trying to get huge power, just want to try something different cylinder stud holes welded up, so i can re-locate for new barrel smallie ports filled with chemical metal, as im using a packer i want to port into something rather than a hole (if you get me?) cylinder has been ordered, and should be here tomorrow sometime some pics dragged off the net:-

not trying to get huge power, just want to try something different Ash I like your style. Still I would have thought 16bhp out of 50cc was pretty good going ;D

interesting ash. are the motos 43mm stroke as well or can you play around with it so suit your needs? in what rev range does it make its power?

nah 39,2mm stroke standard around 13,000-15,000rpm it makes peak power, but then will continue to 17,000-19,000rpm depending on what exhaust i use, so i might have to use v50 primary as its got alot of revs, but who knows till its done

Its a bell type that the scooterotica lads were trying. Mmm. I reckon buy the best one you can afford mate. Its a spinner for sure. You dont intend to use rotary valve do you? If so look at the Lauro reworked balanced cranks. Big money but worth it.

what about the ignition ? you gonna get a total loss race one with a stupidly light flywheel ? and wont you need a bit more weld to get the 3rd transfer cut in ?

and wont you need a bit more weld to get the 3rd transfer cut in ? no welding needed for 3rd port cus the spigot is alot smaller im having a piece of alloy machined to fit inside the smallie spigot and then the barrel into that, which also will act as the packer to bring it up, so when it comes to porting the 3rd port will be cut into the packer, as well as the 2 main tranfers which will only slightly break through on to the casings look at quick pic i drawn up
