well i'd like to try something different - variety is the spice of life, and all that ..and i think the S1s are a bit slippery I'll probably go with the zippy 1's, as I don't know anyone who's tried the Schwalbe Classics.

Zippy 1s are great. I used them a few times and they corner nicely and last pretty well. I did then try TT92s (90/90 10) and Zippy Race which were great for the front, but just to soft for going the distance on one's back end.....OMG i have finally succumb to smutty banter about tires....... So if you are happy to try 2 at a time, go for the TT92s up front and the harder Zippy 1s at the back.

Yo sarah, Nick had some Schwalbe's given to him by broady to try out - 90/90/10 weathermans i think He had some trouble with them catching on the rear shock and front end (on the damper possibly). However my rear shock has a straight spring as opposed to a standard et3 one which bulges in the middle and my front shock is offset so i've just ordered three 'racemans' 90/90/10 but they won't arrive before france so i'll be sliding around on last years s1's Not that i've got a built scooter to put them on anyway...

ooh i don't know about trying 2 at a time (more smut ) ...not sure about race tyres...I don't tend to ride too fast round corners, I prefer to build up speed in straight lines, so I'm not sure I need them. And I'm a total wimp about the possibility of slipping on white lines or slight grooves in the road Ben, the raceman and weatherman schwalbes seem to have a good reputation, but don't come in 300 x 10 so they're not an option for my scoot...the schwalbe 'Classic' comes in the right size, but I don't know a single person who's tried those...

I like conti tyres in general, moped, pushbikes & car.
Got a zippy on my PX - like it, much better than S1s.

S1's were great when they were made in Europe, now that they're made in Asia with the wax-o-matic compound they suck puppies cock.
