What does everyone on here use at the moment - I'm interested to know.... I run Conti Twists 3.50, they seem pretty grippy in the dry but as I am a bit of a wet weather ponce, Im frightened of pushing them in the rain, so couldnt say how well they fair in the wet. I reckon my wet weather speed is about 1/2 that of in the dry I have nothing else to compare them with too as I'm a bit of a newb

most scoot tyres until now have been 2 ply sidewalls, now schwalbe do a 3 ply tyre- go for the raceman, I believe a 90/90/10 fits without touching the casings, ring Frank at Lamb innovations or Mark Broadhurst - if thse 2 recomend schwalbe they must be good

are those schwalbes good for just road use rather than racing?

i reckon those schwalbes are a good bet. Theres some ebay sellers that will do 3 at a very good price if you email and ask. One guy was offering 3 for 72quid delivered if i remember rightly

have just fitted schwalbe racemans to my PX, quite impressed so far, although i've only done around 100 miles and all of that in the dry so far.

hi Tom..and Tom! thanks for advice...though I'm limited by tyre size. Neither the conti navigator/twist or the schwalbe raceman/weatherman nor powertrack come in 300x10. I'm limited to the schwalbe classic or paceman (full race tyre ) and conti zippy 1

i've got Zippy 1's on my pk (90/90's) and think they are pretty good, though as I'm a fair weather driver, i have no idea how they perform in the wet ;D

The raceman tyres ar'nt that good on the track, we all use dunlop tt91/92 race tyres. use the zippy 1's they are a good alround road tyre.

I have always used Zippy1's on my scoots, but at the moment i'm running K61's (90/90), and the are good, but not that great on the wet stuff. I got some macho scratches in my paint to prove that.
