Great resto, love the green ........ On the ET3 I really do like the stickers, it sets it apart. I also love them on the Rally 200, but thats just my opinion. Every scoot is built to the owners tastes, so its whatever floats your boat. I have seen the blue stickers on a green ET3 and it looks mint, but yours also likes great as it is !!!! Heres a picture of my ET3 with stickers, which have been laquered over..... sorry I havent been much help....... Lovely scoot !!!! By dazza3031, shot with DSLR-A100 at 2009-04-05

Is this the real ET3 made in Japan in 90's or ....? where did you find it , i am trying to spot anyone selling them anywhere still to not much luck... Don't you think ET3 Vintage (japaneese) would be the less used Smallframe Vintage authentic Vespa to be found.... they were supposed to be producing them till 1998-99 or something.. maybe some dealers were still selling them in 2000-2003 in Japan? wouldn't it be great to buy almost unused ET3 just 10 years old?

thats looking good, needs stripes that scooter used to be mine....untill kylie robbed it from me so i had to buy another one. its probably the best smallframe i have ever seen in original condition and the best performing in standard tune too. it one best vespa at the lcgb hastings rally as a result. its great to see it again and being looked after. needs stripes in silver in my opinion (and a 12v lighting conversion)

They were only ever built in Italy. The little understanding I have says that when the Japanese refused the PK range and demanded an older model Piaggio set up a "cottage" industry for want of a better term. This consisted of the old guys off the shop floor near retirement age who'd actually built them properly years ago. Therefore you were getting a hand built item from guy's who actually cared and loved what they did. Or at least more so than the YTS Muppets on the PX assembely line anyway. Silver stripes? Queue Max. ;D I'm loving this.... ;D

Good deal! was the seller in UK? did you picked your Vespa yourself or did he posted it to you? P.S. though..i am still wary of Ebay purchases as i burned myself once with a vietbodge restored smallframe....that i still drive on after investin' 1500 euros on repairs and parts and still to improve things to get it to new condition ..... but i believe there are some honest ebay dealers.
