I've not had one myself but those that have seem pretty happy with them for the money.
It's a copy of an old PM, they're ment to be pretty revvy with negligable torque.

ok thats what i needed to hear, i had one on a t5/molossi and thought it was horrid. nothing then a powerband. changed to a sito plus and it went like the clappers. i was never sure if it was the pipe or the molossi or the combination. here is a good write up. im thinking either of the two rz ones but in stainless by jl. thought i should check the scoot rs one though for the money vintagescooters.free.fr/tuning/px200_exhaust/px200_exhaust.htm |

Depends on your budget, tune and what you want. I know there's a re-vamped rhs JL on the market which is ment to be a lot better than the old one. Not sure if it comes in stainless though.
The B-race Dominator is a really good pipe on a low revving motor but it's a lhs system and you can't fit a spare with them if memory serves.

its for a 152l2 so no spare wheel but wheel changing and cable adjustment is still a concideration

Why stainless? They dont work as well as a steel pipe.
They may not rust but you pay so much for something that is really defeating the object.

i appreciate the theory but ive never seen proof that stainless pipes dont work infact ive seen dyno graphs that gave similar results with mild or stainless steel of the same pipe all be it a lambretta.
i would be interested to hear more on the subject though

I thought the only problem with stainless is the welds can be brittle giving a potential shorter life expectancy... I hope not cause I've got a spanking new devtour under me bed  |

My understanding is that stainless and mild steel have different resonation qualities and heating properties. If these were taken into the equasion in the design process then there's no reason why one would out perform the other on the material front.
Personally I don't like stainless pipes as they are brittle by the nature of the steel but not any valid reason other than that. I don't do shiney. ;D

Juan is right... resonance. Stainless cant resonate like mild. Thats why the top race bikes in any field use mild steel.. thin stuff too.. the trade off is noise though. Get the B n Q barby paint out fellas!

you can get bendy MDF.....
I got a scootrs pipe on my T5 polini seems to have lots of torque pulls well in all gears. tops at about 75.

Ahh, yea but if you made a few you can just keep changing them.... plastic coke bottles stuck together with sellotape is you next option, you would alos see when the pipe needed de-cokeing....!!!
i do have the ideas....
