i think its brilliant, i imagine i will not if i saw it up close and its unlikely that i would buy one but what a nice little machine for a youngster
its a shame vespa did not do it themselves with an et2, although i like the orange special that they have done.....again not that i would buy one myself
its a bit out of proportion but otherwise probably the best bit of chinese copying ive seen

Not sure what I think.
yeah looks better than other autos, but essentially it's a copy. Surely we haven't got to the point where no one can design a moped that looks pleasing to the eye without copying something else?

it looks ok'ish but having had to work on a chinese auto for a friend i would have no confidence in the engineering quality.

I reckon it's a bloody disgrace to the Vespa name.
The... - screws up the front - grooves on the bottom from moulding the runners - godawful indicators - out of proportion small wheels - exposed engine and gearbox - myriad vents and louvers - bloody great boxes on the headset - front mudguard that looks stolen off a Zundapp R50 ...absolutely annihilates the Vespa look.
Also, building it in China will mean that it's top speed will generally depend on the fitness/strength of the person pushing, and nobody's going to want to touch it for repairs.
Frankly, I'm astonished that Piaggio hasn't written the gentleman responsible for this monstrosity a somewhat fruity letter requesting that they cease and desist in producing such a blatant ripoff of a design of their own dating back to the '60s.
Look, I understand there's been alot of time and money poured into this project, and that I appreciate. I can also see the market this was designed for - those that want a vintage scoot without the hassle of having it off the road every 10 minutes, but considering Chinese tolerances, it's gonna be just as much hassle, in my opinion. This really does grate, I'm very much afraid to say folks. If the above was fixed, then I may grow to appreciate it, but for the time being this is a biiig no-go.
And finally, it's plastic. No Vespa should ever be made of plastic.
But that's just my humble opinion. - Oli T

I hate it. I hate new BMW Minis, new Beetles & new Fiat 500s. Retro = shit. I too hate new minis and especially new beetles...BUT I love new fiat 500's - Good for fiat, my favourite car maker for producing something that lots of people are buying. Wouldnt have one myself unless it was an Abarth and more specifically an Abarth "SS" oh and about that plastic scooter, well not for me but if it makes other people happy... haha that syndicated ad for asian brides makes me laugh - the fat ginger bloke bearhugging some loveley......
