Have spoken to H who thinks frame is beyond repair and I think most would agree . I have taken engine out etc and planned to remove leg shields / floor pan in a vague hope that frame could by some miracle be straightened. I probably know the answer but with some clearer pictures thought I’d put it out there . It’s like not wanting to listen to the vet when he says it’s the kindest thing to do “ well maybe not that bad 😉

Thanks H I wont bother with it anymore , its a shame but that's life.
I will salvage what bits I can and sell the reg plate which is worth a few hundred , the rear end is good so will stick on here for free it might be useful to someone .

Would of thought that it could be straightened quite easily once legshields were cut off. Most things respond quite well from a tickle with the hot spanner and some artistic physical manipulation! As long as the actual fork tube isnt bent inside.
I'd cut off the legshields, straighten the thin metal, get the fork tube top as good as you can then send it off to be jigged on John's vespa jig. All going well then new leggys......
As they say, anything is possible, just depends on ur time and money investment....
