on the metal pk gloveboxes its the same as px ,a C shaped spring clip . movin 64's was a plastic xl glovebox ,so lock sits in a round housing an is held in with a spring loaded plunger on the barrel . 30 seconds with a penknife fiddling to pop in the plunger an push back of barrel an out it popped .H

never had a glove box coz they were always on my hands where they should be, tho i have to say its a good place for oil, cables, tools etc, which on the older models were seriously lacking in that way, tools in yer tent so they wernt conviscated by plod at the illegal roadblocks they had mind you i never really took spares as it was only put togethr the night before, so just a plug spanner a pocket of plugs ant a bottle of 2 stroke and the all important AA card my mrs px when left outside in london was always emptied of its fuel and glovebox contents, so me being a cunt and all that used to fill it with diesel and old gear oil the scrotes soon stopped taking the fuel
